Background/History:
Dr. Gregory H. Valentine was a maverick scientist/inventor for hire, catering to
mostly an illegal clientele. Many of the various weapons and gadgets of the
super-criminal element were made by him and he worked extensively with the
Attackers, in particular. His pet project, the thing that consumed his spare
time and where he channeled his ill gotten funds, was to create from virtual
scratch a genetically altered human, to create life. He created a girl, named
her after his late wife, gifted with energy manipulating superpowers, and raised
her to be his security guard and such. She grew up around the Attackers and
heard their exploits. She decided that she wanted to be like them. Raised more
like a slave than a daughter, she grew increasingly less tolerant of Dr.
Valentine’s orders and decided to strike out on her own to join the Attackers.
He objected, so she killed him and destroyed his laboratory in the process. With
no real world experience, her entire life spent serving Dr. Valentine, she
sought the Attackers and they recognized how valuable she could be. They took
her in, taught her criminal skills, and became her sick, twisted family.
Personality/Motivations:
Her lack of emotional experience leaves her very cold and distant, but it is
quite an advantage in battle. She makes a good soldier and has little needs
outside of the food and shelter provided by the team.
