Background/History:
An ambassador from the planet Insectus landed on Earth near on Talis Industries
property. The ambassador’s ship was surrounded by Talis security and he
assumed it was a governmental facility. Talis’ people kept him under that
impression and tried to pump him for information, until he realized that they
were not being truthful with him. When he demanded to be taken to the proper
authorities, they attacked and killed him, dissecting his remains for research.
They attempted a gene splicing hybrid and artificially impregnated a nameless
young crack whore with it. They thought she had a miscarriage and lost the baby
when they found her dead from hemorrhaging in the rest room. In reality, the larvae-like
fetus had survived and passed through into the sewage system. Virtually
impossible to kill, the mutation crawled out of a toilet miles away from the
plant and was thought to be an abandoned newborn. He grew up an ugly,
introverted child that was never adopted because he was just plain mean and in
trouble all the time. On his18th birthday, he was kicked out of the orphanage
and began a life of crime. During a fight about splitting the money that he had
stolen with some other hoodlums, he started to change. As if in direct response
to the danger he was in, he sprouted antenna, plates of cartilage covered his
body, and a strange moisture oozed from his pores. He became superhumanly
strong, which was complimented by the armor plating effect and the acidic slime
he exuded. Their fists, knives, and even bullets had virtually no effect on his
skin. He slaughtered his opponents and left their broken bodies in a heap. He
experimented with his new abilities by stealing and physically abusing anyone he
came in contact with. His little rampage was short-lived when the Union of Peace
captured him. The Attackers saw the reports, bribed prison officials for his
medical records, and decided he could be useful, so they broke him out of jail
and he joined their team.
Personality/Motivations:
A nasty, selfish, bitter little man whose powers make it possible for him to
avenge the perceived unfairness of his life, he is disliked by even his
teammates due to his disgusting appearance and his unending stream of
nonsensical babble. His couple of truly useful abilities are less important to
his standing in the team as is his ability to be instantly hated and hard enough
to hit or hurt that he frustrates their opposition.
